4 Days Away — Be Part of the 200th Episode Celebration and Nuanced Launch!
🌟 Special Guest: Elder Eddie Gardner
After five years, 200 episodes, and dozens of powerful conversations, we're marking a major milestone in the journey of the Bigger Than Me Podcast — and you're invited.
📅 Friday, June 27, 2025
🕔 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Cowork Chilliwack (#12 – 8465 Harvard Place, Chilliwack, BC)
What started in 2020 as a mission to discover role models and share untold stories has grown into something much more — a platform for bold, thoughtful, and nuanced conversations on some of the most pressing issues of our time. That’s why, at this celebration, we’re not just reflecting on the past… we’re also revealing what’s next.
I’m proud to officially launch our new identity: Nuanced, with Aaron Pete.
🎉 What to Expect
This special in-person event will bring together longtime supporters, creative collaborators, and members of the broader community for an evening of storytelling, connection, and culture.
We’ll hear reflections on the podcast’s journey, the challenges and opportunities that shaped it, and what the future looks like for Nuanced. I’ll be joined by:
🎬 Tim McAlpine, producer and founder of Studio C
🎨 Matej and Dasa of COLLA Films, the visual creatives behind our rebrand and intros
📱 Rebekah Myrol, social media manager and a driving force behind audience growth
📸 Alex Harte, the talented photographer who’s captured our guests with intention and clarity
And I’m incredibly honoured to welcome Elder Eddie Gardner, a respected Indigenous Knowledge Keeper, who will offer a cultural welcome through singing and drumming. Eddie’s presence brings deep meaning to this moment of transformation and reminds us of the cultural foundations that ground our work.
🍽️ Food & 🍷 Drink
We’ll enjoy a homemade dinner featuring teriyaki chicken kebabs, fresh local pizza, seasonal fruit, and a selection of drinks including pop, wine, whisky, and summer fruit beverages.
💬 Why It Matters
This isn’t just about a name change. It’s about stepping deeper into the kind of conversations the world needs more of — ones that challenge polarization, honour diverse perspectives, and ask better questions.
This celebration is open to everyone. Whether you’ve been listening from the start or just discovered the podcast last week, we’d love to have you with us.

Let’s celebrate where we’ve been — and launch where we’re going.
See you there,
